Vplus during Ramadan or intermittent fasting
Fasting changes when food and drinks are available. Read your current Vplus directions and plan ahead if you want to continue using it. Take religious questions to the appropriate authority, and questions about fasting with a health condition to a healthcare professional.

Planning for Ramadan
Indigo’s published directions say twenty tablets once or twice daily, and recommend taking them in the morning before food. Follow the directions on your current pack.
To take it outside fasting hours, ask your pharmacist whether the pre-dawn meal would be a convenient time. If you need to use it at a different time, check that plan before you move away from the morning direction.
Take the tablets and water within the eating and drinking hours your religious guidance permits. Product information does not decide a religious ruling.
Planning around an eating window
Vplus contains food ingredients, so treat it as something that may affect a fast. Whether to take it during an eating window depends on the fasting approach you follow. Check its rules before deciding on the timing.
If you follow an intermittent fasting schedule, check its requirements and ask about arranging supplement use within your eating window. Do not take extra tablets if you miss a window or serving.

Check medicines and health conditions first
Speak to your healthcare team before fasting if you have a condition or treatment that affects food, fluids or medicine timing. Do not move or skip prescribed medicines to make room for Vplus.
Bring the label and a full medicine list. If you take warfarin, discuss changes to supplements and diet with your anticoagulation team.
Keep the plan clear
Once you have appropriate advice, write down the timing and amount so you do not take a duplicate serving when your meal times change. Between uses, store the pack as the label directs.
Our team can explain the label and pack format. A pharmacist can advise on individual use, and a trusted religious authority can answer questions about observing your fast.
