Vplus during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Ask your maternity care professional before using it.

If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, check with your doctor, midwife or pharmacist before taking Vplus. They can consider the full formula alongside your diet, medicines and prenatal supplements. Plant-based ingredients alone do not establish suitability.

Get advice about your own circumstances

Ask whether you should start or continue this specific product. If you are already taking it and your next appointment is some time away, contact the clinic or pharmacist for advice now.

Do not replace prescribed or recommended prenatal supplements with Vplus. Pregnancy nutrition may require particular nutrients in specific amounts; algae or a DHA-producing ingredient in the formula does not show that Vplus meets those needs.

02

Show the full formula

Vplus lists Chlorella sorokiniana, spirulina and the Indigold blend. The blend includes Chlorella sorokiniana and spirulina extracts and a microalgal ingredient. Bring the complete ingredient declaration so the clinician can assess the product itself.

Each tablet weighs 200 mg. A sachet contains twenty tablets and a box contains 31 sachets. Those figures describe the pack; they are not a pregnancy serving recommendation.

03

Prepare the information they need

  • Bring the current carton or clear photographs of the ingredients, directions and warnings.
  • List all medicines, prenatal products, supplements and herbal remedies you use.
  • State how much Vplus you have taken and when you last took it, if applicable.
  • Mention allergies, medical conditions and any symptoms that prompted the question.

Ask for a clear answer about continued use and whether anything needs monitoring. Do not rely on another person’s pregnancy experience.

How our team can help

We can explain the pack format, locate the batch number and provide the ingredient information available to us. If your healthcare professional asks for a specific manufacturing or nutrient detail, send us the question.

Personal suitability and changes to a pregnancy or breastfeeding care plan should come from your healthcare professional. Follow their advice even if you have used Vplus for a long time.
