Is Vplus suitable for children?

Questions about ingredients, testing and individual safety.

There is no single safety answer for every child. Show the current product label to a paediatrician or pharmacist before giving Vplus. These are the product questions to ask and the information that can help them assess it.

Five questions to ask before starting

Contaminants

Ask whether a current test report is available and which batch it covers. Cultivation method and a batch number alone do not prove that a product meets contaminant limits.

Allergies

Read the full ingredient and allergen information. A product can cause an allergic reaction even if its ingredients are not on a common-allergen list.

Iron and other nutrients

Check the quantity per serving where declared. Do not assume that an algae tablet treats low iron or that an unspecified amount is negligible.

Also ask about medicines and age suitability. Bring a list of everything your child takes so the clinician can check the combination. Ask for a specific amount and preparation method if they recommend Vplus.

What product information is useful?

Bring the ingredient panel, directions, manufacturer details, batch number and best-before date. A clear photograph of every relevant side of the pack is useful if you cannot bring it.

We can help you locate this information and check whether supporting documentation is available. Ask what a test measured and whether it applies to your batch. A general description of how algae is grown is not a substitute for a report.

If a healthcare professional recommends it

Follow the specific amount and preparation they advise. Do not start with one or two tablets or build up to an adult serving unless they have told you to do so.

Keep the pack out of reach and supervise use. Stop after a suspected reaction and get advice. Breathing difficulty or swelling of the mouth or throat requires emergency help. Continue offering balanced meals; a supplement does not resolve feeding or growth concerns.
