What it is

Algae pressed into small tablets. A food supplement, not a medicine.

What is inside

Chlorella sorokiniana, spirulina and the Indigold ingredient.

Your pack choice

Sealed sachets for carrying. A larger tub for home.

01 · Get to know Vplus

What is Vplus?

Vplus is Chlorella sorokiniana, spirulina and the Indigold ingredient pressed into small tablets. It complements the food you eat.

The box holds 31 sealed sachets of 20 tablets, 620 in all. The Family tub holds 2,560 of the same tablets loose. Pick by how you will use it: sachets travel, the tub stays at home.

Twenty tablets sounds like a lot until you see them. Each tablet is small. Your pack tells you how many to take.

02 · Inside the formula

What goes into the tablets?

The whole algae

Chlorella sorokiniana

The main ingredient in Vplus, a freshwater microalga. Many other chlorella products use a different species, so check the species name on the label when you compare.

Spirulina platensis

Spirulina is another ingredient found in many algae supplements. In Vplus it sits alongside the Chlorella sorokiniana.

The proprietary ingredient

Indigold

Indigold is the proprietary ingredient named in the Vplus formula. Your pack carries the full ingredient information. We sell Indigold capsules separately, with their own ingredients and directions.

Why the deep green colour?

Algae contain natural pigments, including chlorophyll. These give the tablets their dark green colour. Read about chlorophyll.

03 · Set your expectations

A place in your routine.

Vplus brings whole algae and selected extracts together in a tablet. The algae is grown and prepared before being blended and pressed. Keep varied meals at the centre of your day.

Use the first few weeks to see whether the format fits your routine and sits well with you. For more on the ingredients, visit our Learn articles.

Why choose this format

Sachets for the bag, a tub for the kitchen. The tablet is the same either way.

Keep eating varied meals

Vegetables, fruit, sleep and a walk still come first. Keep to any advice your doctor or dietitian has given you.

04 · Before you begin

A few things to check.

Read the ingredient list, directions and storage information on the pack you will use.

Ask about the product

If you take medication, have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are considering Vplus for a child, discuss the label with your doctor or pharmacist before starting.

A tub for the household does not mean the same serving for everyone in it.

Show your doctor or pharmacist the full product label and a list of medicines and supplements you take. For anything about the product itself, contact the Indigo team.

05 · Your first routine

Make room for a daily habit.

Start by reading the directions, deciding when to take your serving and finding a suitable place to keep the pack.

01

Check your directions

Follow the current pack label for how much and when to take it. If you think you need a different amount, ask a pharmacist.

02

Choose a familiar cue

A glass of water or your usual morning setup can help you remember. Tie it to something you already do, in line with your pack directions.

03

Tick the calendar

A tick on the calendar is enough. Carry a sealed sachet when you are out and keep it out of the heat.

Missed a day?

Return to your usual serving. Do not take extra tablets to make up for a missed day.

Something feels wrong?

Stop and speak to a pharmacist or doctor if you notice side effects.

For general advice on labels, medication and side effects, see NCCIH’s guide to using supplements.

06 · Choose your format

Which pack fits your day?

Vplus
For individually sealed sachets

The Formula box

31 sealed sachets · 620 tablets

Lower outlay, with sachets already packed for the bag or the desk.

Vplus
For a larger supply at home

The Family tub

2,560 loose tablets · one resealable tub

About four months’ supply at 20 tablets a day, with fewer individual sachets to open.

How long does each pack last?

At a total of 20 tablets a day, the box covers 31 days and the tub 128 days. At 40 tablets a day across a household, a tub covers 64 days. Serving directions are on the pack.

Prices shown are single-pack, one-time. Bundles and Subscribe & Save are on the product pages.

07 · Care for your pack

Keep it well. Keep the carton.

You will want the batch number and best-before date later.

Check before opening

Check the seal and best-before date. If the packaging is damaged or something looks unusual, contact Indigo before using it.

Follow the storage directions

Keep the pack away from heat and moisture as directed. Close the Family tub after use and handle tablets with clean, dry hands. Keep supplements out of children’s reach.

08 · Common questions

A little clarity before you start.

Taking Vplus

The tablets and your daily food.

Do I have to swallow twenty tablets at once?

You do not have to swallow multiple tablets in a single mouthful. If swallowing tablets is difficult, ask your pharmacist about an appropriate way to take them.

Is Vplus a multivitamin?

Vplus is an algae-based supplement. A multivitamin lists set amounts of vitamins and minerals. Check the full labels when comparing products. If your doctor prescribed a nutrient supplement, keep taking it.

Can it replace vegetables or a meal?

No. Vplus complements a varied diet. Keep vegetables, fruit and balanced meals at the centre of your routine.

Choosing and ordering

The packs, payment and delivery.

Are the box and Family tub the same formula?

Yes. The difference is the packaging and quantity: 620 tablets in 31 sachets for the box, or 2,560 loose tablets in the Family tub.

Do I need to subscribe to get started?

No. The product pages offer a one-time order as well as subscription options. Choose a pack first, then compare the payment choices and delivery terms before checking out.

Where can I ask about delivery or returns?

See our delivery information and returns policy for the current terms. For help choosing a pack, contact the Indigo team.
